Projects: Schools (K-12)

Sigma Engineered Solutions, PC and GMK Ramsay Architecture provided design for a new 80,000 sq ft 2-story facility. The existing building will be demolished once the new building is occupied. This project is part of the WCPSS Bond Initiative.

Sigma Engineered Solutions, PC and GMK Ramsay Architecture provided design for a new 40,000 sq ft classroom and administration building; and renovated the remaining existing structure. This project is part of the WCPSS Bond Initiative.

Renovations and additions to existing elementary school. Sigma and Schenkel Shultz Architects provided design and construction services to build new 12,000 sq ft office and classroom facilities; and renovate an existing 50,000 sq ft classroom and kitchen/dining hall.

Guilford County passed a $300 million educational bond to renovate and build new school facilities in 2004. Jamestown Middle School will be a new 160,000 sq ft. 3-story facility to house 1200 students.

Systems design and project management for a total of 250,000 SF of additions and renovations.

West Lake Middle School, along with four other projects totalling $9,000,000, is a part of life cycle equipment replacement. This building and West Lake Elementary, York Elementary, A. B. Combs Elementary and Briarcliff Elementary will receive new chillers and boilers, heat pumps, cooling towers, and new temperature control systems.
